MG501 古巴椅由丹麥現代設計代表 Morten Gøttler 於1997年設計，以天然棉質織帶與二道優雅弧線的原木，設計出簡約輕巧，具收納功能的MG501摺疊椅 —  Cuba Chair (中譯：古巴椅)。2021年，丹麥百年家居品牌 Carl Hansen & Søn 運用擅長的紙纖編織技術與古巴椅相結合，創作出更加精緻的紙纖版本。 保留原有俐落外型，椅面換上紙纖材質的 MG501，視覺上更增添細膩與正式感。選用天然紋路的橡木製成坐椅框架，交錯出極具支撐力的二道優雅弧線。椅面以堅韌的天然紙纖，以八小時的特殊雙層編織技法，打造出細密結實的椅背與坐墊，帶來舒適安穩的乘坐感。靈活的開放式結構，在其框架交界處，用以方便展開收合的設計，增加使用機動性。
