カリモク家具株式会社創立於1940年愛知縣。經歷過了戰爭的年代，從縫紉機台桌子、鋼琴鍵盤、電視機的木框…各類的木製品代工，以精緻純熟的家具製作技術，期望每件家具都能達到長久耐用的高品質標準，符合 Karimoku 品牌的永續理念。同時 Karimoku 一直不斷研發新系列商品，將經典耐看的家具帶給每一個人，這樣不斷創新的精神，也奠定了 Karimoku 在設計家具界的領導地位。1960 年代開始外銷家具至美國，Karimoku 也開始生產家具並創立自有品牌 KARIMOKU，最經典的 K Chair 系列也是在這個時期誕生。2002年成為 60 VISION 第一號企業公司，現今不但是日本家具業的領導品牌，並在世界各地擁有廣大的 Karimoku 迷。 
乘坐椅凳時一開始感受到的柔軟感會伴隨著久坐漸漸消失,而產生彷彿坐到底板的不適感。由聚酯網紗布+聚氨酯泡棉所打造而成的坐墊,可以降低因久坐所帶來的不適感。27mm的無垢材透過3D加工工程成為擁舒適坐感的座椅。設計上呈前後不對稱之造型。
