榮獲《時代》雜誌評選為20世紀最佳設計的 Eames® 成型膠合板椅，最初是一項實驗創作，通過一台利用熱量和自行車打氣筒塑造膠合板的機器製作而成。這款椅子展現了設計師 Charles and Ray Eames 經典設計的美感、影響力和持久風格，是當代經典的理想選擇，適用於休閒或正式的休息空間。  

此款椅子由多個複合曲線的模壓合版組成，包括椅座、椅背、連接椅背與椅座的L型木板、U字型前側椅腳以及後側椅腳等五個零件，展現出優美的弧度。為了提高乘坐的舒適度並解決木質久坐的不適，設計在凹陷的接合處夾進了橡皮，這不僅增加了木頭的強度，還提升了乘坐的彈性。這一創新設計打破了傳統曲木僅能在2D平面下彎曲的限制，首次實現了真正的3D空間彎曲。

美國家具製造公司 Herman Miller 創立於1923年，總部位於密西根州的 Zeeland 。該公司以創新設計、高品質產品和可持續發展策略聞名，是現代家具設計的重要代表之一。Herman Miller 起初主要生產傳統辦公家具和室內裝飾用品。1940年開始探索新設計理念，邀請知名設計師 George Nelson 加入。他的設計簡潔美觀且實用，帶來革命性改革。隨後Charles & Ray Eames、Isamu Noguchi 等知名設計師也加入公司，為公司創造更豐富的設計！

關於設計師 Charles & Ray Eames
